Please don’t miss the final two Mondays at the Gallery Café.<br /><br />Monday, November 8, 2010 – featuring Trena Machado & Ken Saffran<br />Monday, December 6, 2010 – featuring Clare Ramsaran & Lenore Weiss<br /><br />The Gallery Café Reading Series will end its six year run with the December 6th reading. I know many of you have requested a feature and had been promised a slot in 2011. I’m sorry that won’t happen. <br /><br />It’s been an honor to host this series. Now, I want to focus on several writing projects of my own. The owner of the café, who has been gracious to us, doesn’t wish to continue the series at this time. Please join me in thanking Tony and his staff at the Gallery Café. Also, a very special and personal thank you to Robin Demers, the founder and curator of this series. <br /><br />As has been my practice, the mailing list for the Gallery Café won’t be traded or shared. <br /><br />So, let’s celebrate and revel. Bring your new poems in November & December. Folks, it’s persimmon & pomegranate season. If that’s not enough to make us joyful, contemplate Winter Solstice. The series carries on Robin’s spirit – we’re welcoming.
